A Day Away opened when our family could not find a wheelchair van rental option in Northwest Indiana.

It meant the world to be able to provide a safe, reliable method of transportation for my Aunt. And, for her, to travel in her chair without the strain of transfer to a passenger vehicle meant enjoying her day out.
​
My only regret is not starting the company earlier. My Aunt's health declined quickly after September, losing her to heaven in December. We weren't able to spend the days away from the normal routine of senior living that I had hoped for her.
